Rekha Husbands is a Solicitor and the Head of the Immigration Department at Lester Dominic Solicitors. She undertook her two year training contract with Lester Dominic Solicitors where she specialised in immigration, qualifying as a Solicitor with the firm.
Rekha has gained extensive experience in different areas of immigration, from making Work Permit, Business, Marriage and Student Visa applications to preparing Appeal Hearings. She deals with the UK Border Agency and British Embassies/ High Commissions on a day-to-day basis. Rekha represents both businesses and individuals from different countries. She has recently represented a number of business clients with Sponsor licence applications under the new Points Based System.
Rekha keeps up-to-date with all developments in Immigration law and regularly attends courses held by the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association. She also writes articles for different publications on a range of immigration issues.
Rekha graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in 2005 with an LLB (Honours) in Law. She attended the BPP in London and completed the Legal Practice Course in 2006.
