Working Holidaymakers
The Immigration Rules allow for nationals of participating Commonwealth countries, British overseas citizens, British overseas territories citizens or British nationals (overseas) to apply to come to the UK to holiday for up to two years, and work for a maximum of 12 months as part of their holiday. You will need to be aged between 17 and 30 to fit into this category.
You can find out if your country is included on the List of Countries participating the Working Holidaymaker Scheme, to determine whether you satisfy the first requirement under this category.
We can assist you with making an application to the British Embassy/ High Commission or VAF in your country of origin and help you to apply to switch into another category if you are eligible to do so.
