Contact
Contact can be ordered in a variety of forms, with or without conditions. A Contact Order is an Order requiring the person with whom the child lives, or is to live, to allow the child to visit or stay with the person named in the Order or for that person and the child otherwise to have contact with each other. Great weight is attached to children having contact with parents with whom they do not live but every decision about contact must be taken after all the circumstances of the individual child, in particular, the welfare of the child, is considered. If physical, direct contact is not appropriate in the first instance, indirect contact may be necessary, for example, by letter, e-mail or by telephone.
We will discuss which is the best solution for your individual circumstances.
