Stepping Stones Nigeria is a grassroots charity dedicated to supporting the rights of vulnerable and exploited children such as the so-called child ‘witches’ and ‘wizards’ of the Niger Delta. Working with local partner organisations SSN delivers education, shelter, healthcare and hope for a brighter future. Through advocacy and research the charity campaigns at a local, national and international level to put a stop to the abuse of innocent children.
Stepping Stones Nigeria was first featured on Channel 4’s Dispatches “Saving Africa’s Witch Children” in November 2008. A second program will be shown on Channel 4’s Dispatches “Return to Africa’s Witch Children” in November 2009.
